I will post some pictures of my costumes from Ikkicon here in the next day or two, now that I'm thinking about it. Haven't found that many, but oh well.
Currently I'm finally getting around to sewing some things that have been waiting since before I went to Japan, meaning they were cut out then, and pinned together when I got back. I've also been going through some old fabric, trying to find uses for it. So, I currently have two skirts and a shirt from left over stuff, and another skirt and two ren faire tops waiting to be sewn. There's also the jumper from last summer needing a zipper and some tailoring, and I already made 2 skirts and an apron. Yay for actually DOING something.
School's been a bit hectic since before Ikkicon, but Spring Break is here and I finally have a chance to relax and sew as much as I want. The goal would be to finish the above mentioned projects, and maybe a few more. I've got a skirt for Christine cut out, and the fabric for her shirt, as well as the fabric for an Umi costume and some stuff to alter Rinoa that's been waiting a while too.
I was going to make the Umi one in time for Allcon, but since I left my wig in Waco, I'll hold off on that. I also left lots of miscellaneous bits of costumes behind, so Allcon will be interesting, especially if I don't get some socks.... I do plan to go, but we're celebrating my birthday early, Friday to be exact, so I'll only be at the con until around 4 that day to eat with my family. Saturday I should be able to be there for the majority of the day, allowing a decent time to drive back home that evening. Don't know if I'll be going Sunday, probably, but we'll see.
I think that's about it. Maybe I'll take some pics of my recently completed projects by the end of the week, just to see what all I've completed.
Later!

Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun.
Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-eight million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue-green plane

"Well, your opinion is as good as hers, I think. That's the real power of art, I think. Not to chide but to provoke chalange. Otherwsie why bother?"
